Forum: GratefulDead Subject: 9/5 AUD anyone?

This aud only got 3 stars from the lone reviewer - I am up to the second set and I'm thinking it is a solid 4 star, but need another set of ears on this. Can someone help me out here?

Check out this second set from MSG:
Scarlet Begonias > Fire on the Mountain
Estimated Prophet > Eyes of the World > Drums > Space > Black Peter
I Need a Miracle > Bertha > Good Lovin'
Encore: U.S. Blues

not my cup of tea
too much high end and slight hiss.
as is the case with alot
of auds. Phil is not represented very well too.
Great playing though. Nice, energetic Franklins, and
that second set is quite good. Jerry comes through
pretty damn clear through the whole thing, if that is any
consulation.
just my two pecos...

Thanks for your pecos (are those like pesos?)

I did listen on my crummy PC speakers - and tend to agree that the AUDs often need a little help from Mr. Equalizer.

That said I'm sticking with my 4 star to get the average up to 3.5.

I'd definitely give it a 4 for sound quality. Listening to the Estimated now and it sounds great. Nice find!
